A |     장미란 씨 등 실종 사건 2건을 허위종결한 혐의를 받는 제주서부경찰서 소속 부 모 경장이 25일 제주지방법원에서 구속 전 피의자 심문(영장실질심사)을 마친 뒤 이동하고 있다. 뉴스1 실종 사건 허위 종결로 구속된 A 경장이 침입한 경찰서 여자 화장실 천장 등에서 의문의 지문이 나와 경찰이 신원 대조 등 수사에 착수했다. 26일 제주경찰청에 따르면 A 경장이 지난달 22일 침입한 제주서부경찰서 여자 화장실의 천장과 용변 칸 위쪽 끝 등에서 신원을 알 수 없는 지문과 손바닥 자국 등의 흔적이 다수 발견됐다. 지문이 발견된 천장 등의 지점들은 불특정 다수의 손길이 닿는 휴지걸이 등과 달리 이용자의 손길이 거의 닿지 않는 곳이다. 다만 먼지로 인해 지문 형태가 온전하지 않은 것으로 알려졌다. 경찰은 발견된 지문 등의 신원을 확인하기 위해 대조 작업을 진행하고 있다. A 경장은 지난 7월 22일 제주서부경찰서 여자 화장실에 침입했다가 이 경찰서 소속 여경에 의해 적발돼 성범죄의 처벌 등에 관한 특례법 위반 혐의로 입건됐다. A 경장은 “화장실이 급해 들어갔다”, “남자 화장실에 휴지가 없었다”고 해명하며 범행을 부인했다. A 경장은 성범죄 혐의로 직위해제된 이후 숨진 채 발견된 장미란(37) 씨와 60대 남성 실종 사건을 허위 종결한 혐의가 드러나 구속됐다.。

B |     In a significant development, producer Bhushan Kumar of T-Series and filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri have officially announced their new collaboration titled Operation Sindoor. The upcoming film is set to bring to the big screen the story of India's targeted military strikes on terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The project draws its inspiration from the real-life military codename used during these strikes. The operations were a direct response to the tragic 2025 Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir, which resulted in the loss of 26 lives, the majority of whom were tourists.           The film finds its foundation in the book Operation Sindoor: The Untold Story of India's Deep Strikes Inside Pakistan, authored by Lt Gen K.J.S. 'Tiny' Dhillon (Retd). Directed by Vivek Agnihotri, the movie will be a joint production between T-Series and Agnihotri’s I Am Budha Productions. The makers have described the project as a cinematic tribute to a defining moment in India’s history, highlighting the nation’s strategic resolve, precision, and courage. Sharing his thoughts on the project, Bhushan Kumar said, "Some stories are not chosen, they choose you. Operation Sindoor is one such story, one that demands to be told with honesty, courage, and responsibility. This is not just a film. It is a revelation. When a nation goes through events of such magnitude, it becomes important to document them truthfully."          Vivek Agnihotri, known for directing hard-hitting films like The Kashmir Files and The Tashkent Files, explained the depth of the research involved. He shared, "This is not just a film. It is a revelation. With Operation Sindoor, India has not just taken revenge for the Pahalgam terror attack and punished Pakistan, but it has also demonstrated its might in modern warfare." Agnihotri further explained that the team conducted extensive ground-level research alongside various wings of the Indian Armed Forces. According to the director, the goal is to show the audience the how and why behind the events. He added, "What emerges is a reality far more complex, far more precise, and far more unsettling than what is available in the public domain.”           Agnihotri expressed his commitment to authenticity, saying that his effort is to bring this story of professionalism and strategic clarity to the audience as an edge-of-the-seat cinematic experience.
